Artstor Slide Gallery

Hip Ornament: Human Face,16th-19th C, Africa.

The Artstor Slide Gallery was conceived as a broad and deep online resource for teaching and research in the arts, humanities and social sciences. The University of California, San Diego, which allowed Artstor to digitize significant portions of its slide library (approximately 190,000 images), is the foundation of the collection. The majority of the images in the Slide Gallery correspond to established undergraduate curricula in art history and the humanities.
